Quilting on the back burner

Life has been busy lately – but in spite of quilting being sort of on the back burner, I have managed to finish Life Is Beautiful!
I brought it to Show  & Tell at my guild last week.

It has been a while since it was a pile of blocks.

Joining strips quilt as you go style.

Numbered rows laid out.

Life is beautiful

This quilt and all its stitcheries brings back happy memories and I will treasure this quilt, even after all the 31 meters of binding.

I love those strips in between - they really add something to the quilt!

Well done. It's so retry in the soft blues and greys. That's an awful lot of binding but it does look good. I like the neat finish without extra orders on the outside.

Thanks for showing the how you join the blocks - I have always been tempted by the Quilt-as-you-go method. Lovely blocks:)

31 meters! Wow. It is so beautiful and a lot of stitching hours have gone into it. Well done.
