Tour de Fibre–day 4 and 5

JPNutsIt has really been an exciting process to follow how Merete has quilted my Just Plain Nuts quilt, through Facebook, over the last week.
The quilt came home today, and it is stunning in real life. Merete will bring it with her to Birmingham in August, for the quilt festival there, so I have to get busy doing the binding.

P1080725These angel blocks from the book An Angels Story, by Anni Downs, have been kept in my Ufo box since 2008.
Ufos needs to be finished, to free space in the Quilt Corner.
I know I put these blocks to the side because I could not decide what colour(s) to frame them with.
Even if Ufos takes up space in every way, I am sort of happy I waited, as I am so happy with the choices I have made now :-)

P1080730Here is the first quarter done.
