Jule-Expo (Christmas-Expo)

P1070441The new consept Jule-Expo happened this weekend, and it was a 5 in1 Expo – with displays of crafts, food, antiques, alternativ health and computer games.
I must admit I did not give alternativ health and computer games a minute of my time, antiques just a fraction of my time, with no purchases.

Crafts and food – a whole other story :-)

Meeting Åsne and Beryl from Quiltefryd is always a treat!
Quiltefryd has just opened a new online store too – and you can get to it HERE
The shop itself, in the small town Tønsberg, is ever so nice, but to far to visit frequently, so  I am looking forward to see what they will carry in the online shop.

P1070440P1070445Quiltefryd carries Yvonne’s patterns – I hope you see this Yvonne :-)
Yvonne makes the most wonderful hand painted buttons to go with her patterns.
It is a lovely small world for us quilters, enjoying the Australian patterns here in the high north.

P1070442You already know I love Siw and Quiltegården from Trondheim!
Siw also always carries the very best of fabrics, patterns and kits, inspiration, expertice and friendliness!

P1070443More from Quiltegården’s stand

Merete was there too, showing her skills on long arm quilting, both selling long arm quilt machines and doing her lovely work for others.

P1070447The food Expo was very nice too – and we bought Christmas specialities in the meat section, Dutch cheese and fresh cupcakes to take home

P1070455

We brought home 5 different cupcakes to take home for afternoon coffee.
We divided all the cakes in 3, so we all could get a taste of all the different flavours.
Cupcakes Oslo really have a great selection, and they also makes gluten free cupcakes.

We walked a lot, tasted a lot, did some quilt shopping –
which I will show you in the next post –
and had a lovely day :-)
