A touch of rebel :-)

P1060991Now I have been working on my Some Kind of Wonderful quilt blocks for so long that I feel my inner rebel kicking ;-)
I have a deal with myself to finish more than I start for a while, so I dug out a WISP from last year.
This English paper piecing project had some fall colours in it, and I am not so fond of burnt orange and black, so I have taken the time to pick out the pieces I did not like, and have sewn the rings back together.

Now I am happy with the look, and my plan is to make these 3 rings in to a table runner for the coffee table.

Planning is bringing the future into the present
so that you can do something about it now

  2. Looks lovely. "A change is as good as a rest" as the saying goes. I have to bribe myself to finish things too. It is usually the thought of not being allowed to start something new which keeps me going.

  3. I think it looks lovely and I agree, it's worth taking the time to unpick so that you make something you will like!

  4. I don't know how it looked before, but these colours are lovely together. We all know in our hearts when we really have to re-do a project.

  5. Pink, beige, brown - the colours you have now works great! I can understand your feelings about the burned orange :-) I look foreward to see the finished runner.
