Tour de Fibre - Thursday - a day in the sun :-)

P1040443I have finished a few more red and green blocks, as well as cutting the rest of the pieces for the rest of the blocks.
It has been a lovely sunny day, and I spent some hours outdoors, on the veranda, piecing the star block for my BOM and just enjoying myself, soaking up sunlight and let the body warm up in the best possible way :-)

We have to enjoy our summer days. And just cross our fingers and hope there will be more of them.

How warm is it there? Our temps have been close to 100 this week in USA (NC). Are you making the blocks in the picture by hand? Very pretty!

I agree... enjoy the sun while it is here to warm us.
Hope your foot is better today and everyday.
Love your blocks. Red and Green is one of my fave combinations!

Ja, heldig vi som fikk en solskinnsdag :-)
Ser det går unna med flere prosjekter. Så flotte fingerbøl du har fått også - heldig du.
Ha en flott dag og kos deg med sying - det gjør jeg.

I have special rulers for both those blocks. I love Dresden plates. But I also love the stars! I have made a whole bunch of those stars string pieced to use up some scraps. Well, everyone loves a star quilt and dresden's are classic! Cheers! Evelyn
