Catching up

flowerpower

Last weekend I attended a class with the author of this book, Flowerpower Patchwork, with my guild, and it was great fun :-)

Anne-Pia Godske Rasmussen is a lovely teacher, and she had brought a lot of models to inspire us.

We learned to make very cool buttons from scratch :-)

We have access to a very nice classroom at a local business.

As a bonus at the end of Sunday, we got the instructions to make these small Easter chickens.

What did I make ?

P1040031

I made a care quilt top, to get the hang of the divided hexagons by machine technique.
I used 3" strips.

I also started a smaller table topper with an elongated half hexagon.
I must admit I have not done as much as a thread on it since Sunday.

I wish I had more hours to a day, as my head is spinning with inspiration and new ideas :-)

  1. I would really like to have this book but unfortunately it is not printed in English. Love the knitting bag and the flower pincushions.
