Sunday sewing

P1030214

3 care quilts from previous posts are done, washed and ironed, and have now left the building :-)
I do have 3 kits that I can work from – aiming at 3 tops by the end of the month, in good time before my guild’s next care quilt sew together at April 2nd.

Finally an Ufo finish :-)
It has been quite some time since my last Wisp (work in slow progress) finish now.
It was good to sew through the pattern in the previous post, to make sure I could understand my own photos.
The little stitchery is from Hatched and Patched.
I did not care to much for the bon bon it was supposed to decorate, but a girl can not have to many drawstring pouches – for this and that, like my favourite Christmas ornaments or Christmas sweets or such :-)

Thank you for the tutorial for making drawstring pouches. It is not difficult and so nice to do a little project in between and for presents too. Maybe I will use the same sentence becaus my son is learning Norwegian and going to Norway for his summer holiday:)You made so many care quilts! Very admirable.

Wonderful that the care quilts are off to where they are needed... you have done really well with the straight line quilting - something that I am really bad at.
