Lovely weather, a lot of water, simple meals and outdoor stitching was the focus in the beginning of the week.
Tuesday I visited Bente, and we spent the day outdoors.
My Seaman Dresden Plate blocks have really been on the back burner, like the seamen had committed mutiny :-)
I think I have to do a weekly block of these beauties too, just for fun :-) I find that I have missed hand piecing since I finished my star quilt.
Bente is very close to finishing her hexagon quilt # 2 - it is absolutely gorgeous!
When I came home from Bente's, my DH had picked these wild strawberries to me - the ultimate taste of Norwegian summer!
These lovely flowers from Bente's garden has brightened my living room all week :-)
Sounds like you are having some perfect moments this summer! I love your catching up posts - a little bit of everything. Cheers! Evelyn
