More thoughts on words

Over the last couple of days I have finished the last 4 blocks of Gail Pan's BOM, and I am searching for border fabrics in my fabric collection.

P1040973

Function: noun

Etymology: French noël Christmas, carol, from Old French Nael (Deu), Noel Christmas, from Latin natalis birthday, from natalis natal
Date: 1811
1 : a Christmas carol
2 capitalized : christmas

I like Christmas carols, especially if sung by the tenors. You know me - I like Advent the most, doing the Christmas preparations and listening to Christmas music on the radio. I found in another dictionary that carols also applies to other religious celebrations.
Carols are part of our traditions. Traditions gives continuity through generations.

  1. Hei Hanne! Dette var mega bra,så stilig at du har beskrevet ord for ord. Jeg har også brodert disse, men jeg har ikke siste ordet magic. Jeg kan ikke ha fulgt med til det siste, jeg har ikke fått montert blokkene ennå. Gleder meg til å se ditt resultat, håper du legger det ut. Ha en fin uke. Fra Grethe
