A Happy Dance

My DD2 is back from Mali, Africa, safe and sound, happy and full of impressions!

Her daddy and I got this cute little wooden elephant, 2,5" tall.
The background is one of her fancy African pants.
Cool fabric, don't you think ?
She has promised I can have it when it is worn out, if it ever gets worn out....
Then I can cut out the good pieces and make her something nice :-)

Another reason for a happy dance - I am feeling so much better, after being under the weather for weeks.
1 allergy pill and I am on the mend already.
I wonder why I have not thought about it before ??

Du er ikke allergisk mot juletre, julestjerner, svibler eller noe lignende vel?
Godt å høre at jenta er kommet vel hjem, det har mi også.

I love the little elephant. The fabric on the pants is great. I hope you will be able to use it soon.... LOL! My hubby had gone to Africa several years ago and brought me back some wonderful fabric. Since then I have been collecting authentic African fabric to put a quilt together for him.

cute elephant and fabric. Bet you are glad for your daughter to be back. I saw your Nearly Insane quilt from last year? and it is beautiful - I will make one maybe next year.

How great to have her back safe and sound, and how wonderful she had a great time! The elephant is gorgeous, and lucky you getting the fabric of those trousers once they are worn out ;o)

Glad to hear you are feeling better! An allergy pill? ...sometimes the answer is simpler than you think...

I sooo look forward to the weekend! It will be great to see you again, and I think we'll have heaps of fun :o)
