Fast and Fun Finish

Nothing is like a finish every so often :-)

I enjoy making heartstring blocks from scraps, and I must admit I like to work with few colours at a time.
I am sure I can make another pink heart quilt from the pink scraps I have left.
Once again proven, scraps breed by cell dividing :-)

Come autumn my local guild have plans for organized sewing of quilts to children with long term diseases.
Guess who volunteered to be in the group organizing it all ?
Therefore I will not send in any of the quilts I make before late in the autumn at the earliest, unless I make duplicates.
Nothing like having inspiration by eye and the good tactile feeling of fabrics.

I have made a point of bringing my care quilt to show and tell over the years.
We all have scraps, and even if one person can not help all, we can all make a difference for someone, right :-)

  2. You set such a good example! And I can't understand how you can work so fast, the new quilt is stitched and with bindings already.
