Time for some more blocks

4 off center Log Cabin blocks makes a nice round pattern.
Each block is 8.25"
These blocks will be used in an upcoming class on Log Cabin

A Civil War Diary block. I am just picking blocks here and there in the quilt at the moment.
Maybe I should start doing one row at a time, or maybe not...... :-)

  1. Hanne, I like those off-center log cabin blocks. I guess I never realized that they would appear curved when they are sewn together. My quilt guild is using this pattern for its BOM this month. I guess I'd better get busy and make one!

  3. All three blocks are lovely - I hadn't thought that a log cabin could look that circular either.

  4. Your CWD block looks great! I have recently finshed my 11th block. I am making them row by row. I was getting confused as to what I had made and not made so this may help. These blocks are so much fun to make!

  6. Great work, Hanne. Bravo! Log cabin quilts are the one which I'm intrigued everytime -although I hardly find time to perform on such things lately-.
    Blessings~

  7. God tur over dammen! Håper du får et inspirerende og fint opphold! Er jo sikkert like spent på deg, på hvordan teppet ditt ble quiltet der over.
