Counting my blessings after all

Purple eye shadow does not suit me much LOL
All things considered I can do nothing but count my blessings after all !

My eye is intact, my hands and arms are not injured, my headache will fade (soon I hope) , the swelling will go down, and the wound will heal, even if it will leave a long scar diagonal through my eyebrow.
It could have been so much worse......

I have done some comfort shopping at Honeysuckle Cottage - what else can a stitcher / quilter do in distress - LOL -
had lunch with friends, been to a guild committee meeting and had a very simple and good meal of fresh French wholegrain bread with cheese for dinner - I am home alone today.

Now to make a big cup of tea and find some stitchery to do while having a restful evening in front of the television.
No fabric boxes in wrong places, all light bulbs lit in all rooms in use.

Thanks for all the lovely, caring notes - they are very much appreciated :-)

Oh Hanne I do hope you're feeling better today. What a terrible thing to happen, but so fortunate that it wasn't worse. Glad to see that you're feeling well enough to do some online theraphy.

Soooo, how many stitches per inch did the Dr. do on your forehead?

ooops -- couldn't resist that one ... Poor baby - could have been worse, but glad you're going to be OK.

ALL accidents are stupid - that's what we say AFTERWARDS. Take care.

Ouch ouch and ouch again! A cup of tea and some stitchery sounds like a wonderful idea. Take care of yourself and I hope your headache is gone by the morning.

So what did you order from Honeysuckle Cottage? Please share when you get your package.

Maybe the next bruise color (yellow) will be better eye shadow! Sorry - couldn't help myself. Yes, you are lucky - no injury to the eye! I hope you heal quickly.

Glad to hear you are feeling better - and so glad it wasn't worse... And from one quilter to another, I hope you didn't get blood all over the fabric, lol.

Hi, happy to see you are keeping your spirit up! Hope your wound will heal soon, and that you don't have to wear "purple eye shadow" for a long time :o) Take care and have a good nights sleep (sleeping makes you heal, you know?!)

Hanne, this picture is more colorful and looks more serious than the last one. I hope you are taking good care of yourself and that the eye shadow is fading quickly.
