I have cleaned my hands and am coughing in another direction, so I hope you are not catching the virus too.
I am surfacing again - slowly, but still it is good progress compared to the other day.
Thursday afternoon, nearly like an early start on the weekend, adding good will :-)
Anyway, I need to pick some priority projects to work on. If not, I tend to do a thread here and a thread there, with no real progress, and with a wandering mind, wanting to start new projects all the time.
I have picked these 4 projects to work on through next weekend:
- Leanne's House BOM - can I finish block # 5 and get a good start on block # 6 ?
- Nearly Insane block - you are in the sunshine again my friends - time to get some more blocks done.
- My Sewing Angel stitchery - a gift from a dear friend when I was so sick this winter. I could not wrap my mind around even sorting the threads then, but kept it on my desk to look at. I will make this into a tote when it is done. How much can I do through next week ?
- My mouse stitchery - using crayons with the stitcheries, for class purposes. My plan is to make a little drawstring purse from this one.
My plan for the autumn is to work on no more than 4 projects at a time and to go back to fairly strict fabric diet.
I want to shrink my fabric collection - so far so good this year!
I am not one for resolutions but I can do my best !
Autumn / school start is as good a time to set priorities as New Year, maybe even better, as it does not give me a feeling of having left anything behind - just new chances and good feelings :-)
