Sunday

2 more blocks for my NI quilt :-)

My plans for the upcoming week are to make as many Nearly Insane blocks as possible, try to finish Eeyore cross stitch embroidery which is ever so neglected this weekend, and start another applique block.

The care quilt will be on the back burner for a while, all the blocks in its zip lock bag. I need to work with my best fabrics and lovely colours right now.

Strike update - the strike escalates and hits hard on the surgeons on my hospital from tomorrow morning 6 am, and the chances for a quick strike solution are very slim. I am preparing myself as good as I can for a delay.
My sewing corner will be a very busy spot until I am under the knife!

  1. best wishes on a speedy end to the strike! but meanwhile, it's good to do as much fun stitching as you can manage-a very good distraction Hanne!
    beautiful blocks as always.

  2. I pray the strike ends quickly so you can have your surgery. At least you can get a lot work done while you are waiting. Those red and white blocks are gorgeous.

  3. I get so mad at this strike.

I cross my fingers for you.

    A big hug.

Håper ting ordner seg for deg imorgen! Klem!

NI-blokkene er flotte. Gjør du som jeg, tar tilfeldig nummmer? Eller syr du i rekkefølge fra 1 og opp?
