A duh moment - more Crazy Quilt Round Robin

A real Duh moment indeed !
When making ready for sending the other RR on to the next participant I discovered that I had mixed up the 2 RRs I had here. I should have finished the other RR first.
I got 2 nearly at the same time because the participant before me was going on a trip, and she wanted them done before leaving.
Well - what could I do ?
I do not like to mess up other people's schedule and I do not like to mess up deadlines,
so when I still had embroidery equipment and pearls out on my desk I got at it.

As you see, I have used the same decor over again, and as you also see, it looks different on this background.
The owner will use this as a door sign for her bathroom at her summer house,
so it felt important to not give it a Christmas feeling.
A touch of turquoise and a touch of light purple did the trick.

Everyone has done very nice work on all the RRs and it has been fun to stretch a bit.
I have never done this before.
2 more rounds before we are done.
I am one round before schedule and the next send off will be 28. August.

Now back to cutting and piecing.
Even if this has been good fun so far I know that I like piecing better :-)

Love the work you've done on both Crazy quilt blocks. The one with the red heart is particularly nice :)

Very pretty!

I like all the embroidery and beading you're doing - does it take you a long time?

Thank you for the welcome. This is really pretty - on both the works. I haven't done much crazy quilting, but I have started on one cotton quilt. It's a lot of fun.

You do such beautiful work and lots of it too. Some seem to do just a tiny bit, but yours is perfect and fits right in. I must try some of this soon. My fingers are itching from seeing your wonderful work!

This is gorgeous as well! Easy to see how you might have picked the "wrong" project first when they are both at your house. Does this put you ahead of schedule then?

Your embroidery is just lovely! The idea of a crazy patch round robin is just great, I love it! I have always wanted to try crazy patch, but have never been brave enough to make a start.

Such beautiful work! I love crazy patch too. Round robins have always seemed a bit scary to me as I'm afraid I'll mess up someone else's work LOL!!

These are very pretty. I love crazy quilts but haven't ever wanted to make a whole quilt. Maybe a small wall hanging would be nice.

The crazy block looks just lovely Hanne!! What a dilema to discover you'd done the wrong one first, but you made the best of it.
You really do a nice job! Hope it's ok if I smile after reading that you have found you like piecing better..*VBS*
