Done

It is always good to be done with a quilt,
as my head is always full of new ideas :-)
I said I was going to work on the Easter pillow this weekend,
but I feel more like doing a couple more Bento Box blocks.

One of the nice things about finishing a quilt is also to clear the sewing table and put scraps, thread, needles and all away.
This quilt is totally from fabric, thread and batting collection,
and will be given to my favourite cause later this spring.

  1. Someone out there will be a very lucky receipient of the quilt. Thanks for sharing.

  2. Hanne, It's beautiful. I love string quilts and am making a blue one right now after finishing up my blue braid tops. Mine will be donated too - hearing about the children with their quilts is certainly motivation to keep making and donating them. I can't think of a more worthy cause.

  3. Great string quilt - I love the way the red border fabric makes the reds within the blocks stand out and brings it all together :)
